MEET Scott Branson
Hello, my name is Scott Branson. I am beginning my 21st year in Indian Prairie. I have worked at Waubonsie Valley, Hill Middle School, and have spent most of my career at Granger. I have taught 8th grade U.S. History, 7th grade Geography, Quest, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Health as well as all levels of Physical Education. I earned my Bachelor degree from Aurora University and my Master’s degree from Chicago State University. I am one of the committee members for the Grizzly Gallop, a coach for heavy weight football, boys basketball and track at Granger. I have been married for 18 years to my wife Kerri. I have three boys, Luke, Zach, and Sam and a daughter, Leah. I like to spend time with my family, landscape/garden, fish, workout and travel. Most of all, I really enjoy working at Granger!
MEET Jen Torza
Hello! My name is Jen Torza. I am a Health and Physical Education teacher for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students. Although I do not currently coach any activities, I am a Special Olympics volunteer and part of the BOOST Mentoring team. I have been teaching for 12 years and have spent 10 of those years here in District #204. Before I taught at Granger I spent two years at Still Middle School. I received my master’s degree in educational leadership from Aurora University in 2005. I became National Board Certified in 2009. I am married with three boys, Derek 10, Drew 7, and Davin 3. My husband and I moved here from New Mexico in 2000 and currently reside in Oswego. I love teaching and could never imagine doing anything else. Granger is the best school I have worked at and I look forward to completing my teaching career as a GRIZZLY! Grrrrrrr!!! WE R GRANGER!!!!!!
